County Approval Required
Dust control treatment may begin only after the county officially releases the roads for application. Roads are released by the county as a whole, not on an individual property basis.
Deano’s Road Dust Control coordinates directly with the county on your behalf. Customers are only responsible for submitting their completed permit and payment to Deano’s. While Deano’s does not work for the county, we are an approved county vendor and work in coordination with them to provide dust control services.
Minimum Application Requirement
All counties require a minimum treatment length of 400 feet. This minimum does not apply to alleyways located within city limits.
Flagging & Marking Requirements
Customers are responsible for clearly marking the treatment area using visible flags and/or written instructions on the permit. Flags must remain visible throughout the season.
If markings are missing, unclear, or not maintained, drivers will apply treatment using their best judgment. Neither Deano’s Road Dust Control nor the county is responsible for areas that are bladed during the season as part of normal county road maintenance.
Deadlines Matter
Permit deadlines are established to allow the county adequate time to prepare roads for treatment. Late submissions may only be eligible for a second-round application. Submitting your permit on time helps avoid delays, confusion, and service limitations.
Terms & Conditions Acknowledgment
By uploading your permit, you acknowledge that you have read, reviewed, and agree to Deano’s Road Dust Control’s Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable county policies and permit requirements.
Deano’s Road Dust Control operates as an approved vendor for participating counties. All products applied to county roads have been reviewed and approved by the county as part of the vendor authorization process.
If you have questions about your permit, treatment markings, or file upload, please visit our How to Sign Up / How It Works page for detailed guidance, or contact us directly. We’re happy to help ensure everything is submitted correctly.
