How to Sign Up / How It Works
Simple, Step-by-Step Sign-Up for Dust Control
Getting started with Deano’s Dust Control is easy. Follow these steps to ensure your residential or community road is treated safely and effectively.
Step 1: Review Requirements
All of this information can also be found on the Permits page, where it breaks it down as well under "How to complete your permit"
Minimum 400-foot application area is required for all counties
Two applications recommended for optimal results
Some counties we require two applications
Others offer the option of a single fall (July/August) application
Please refer to your county permit for specific requirements/ guidelines
Prepare flags or clearly mark the areas to be treated
Flags are crucial for our drivers and county blade operators throughout the season
See Counties flag rules and where to pick up flags if provided
Disclaimer: Deano’s is not responsible for placing or maintaining flags. If flags are missing or not visible, drivers will apply treatment at their discretion. Failure to have clear markings or follow your county’s flagging guidelines may result in the treated area being bladed through.
Step 2: Complete Your County Permit
Fill out your annual county dust control permit.
Each county’s permit has different information and guidelines — be sure to follow the instructions specific to your county.
Include clear spraying and marking instructions so:
Drivers know exactly where to treat
County blade operators know which areas have been treated and should be avoided throughout the season
Disclaimer: The county reserves the right to blade through treated areas at any time if road infrastructure is affected, if the area poses a safety risk, or is deemed hazardous. Please read your county permit carefully for specific guidelines. Neither Deano’s Road Dust Control nor the county is responsible for areas that are bladed during the season. Any blading that occurs is part of the county’s maintenance schedule, and Deano’s has no control or authority over road preparation or blading decisions.
Important: The permit must be signed by the property resident/ owner. We cannot accept unsigned permits, as all permits must be submitted to the county for approval.
You can submit your completed permit via:

Drivers will follow your markings or written instructions to ensure coverage
Treatments may be affected by weather, surface prep, or traffic; Deano’s cannot guarantee performance if external factors interfere
That’s it! Deano’s makes dust control easy and reliable so you can enjoy cleaner roads, safer driving, and reduced dust throughout the season.
By signing and submitting your county dust control permit, you acknowledge and affirm that you have reviewed, understand, and agree to Deano’s Road Dust Control’s Terms and Conditions and all applicable county policies and requirements. Deano’s Road Dust Control operates in coordination with participating counties as an approved vendor, and all products applied to county roads have been reviewed and approved by the county as part of the vendor authorization process.
To ensure your road receives dust control treatment, a new permit is required each year. Old permits cannot be reused. Deano’s Road Dust Control handles all permits and coordinates directly with your county for spraying.
Note: The county does not release roads by individual property; they release areas as a whole. Once the county releases the area, Deano’s receives authorization to begin applications.
